– Southern Vermont Spring Wedding –
“If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.”
– Vincent Van Gogh
Vermont. My favorite state. When I went to college in North Adams, I was always a stone’s throw away from the Green Mountains of Vermont. So the opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding in Vermont felt like a total dream come true. This was also my first wedding where the dress code was “country formal” and it did not disappoint. Boots, hats, and bolo ties, everyone was looking good and feeling good. Some of the best partiers I think I’ve ever seen!
We’re always so honored when we get the call to be your photographers for the day, whatever it is that you want to document, you trust us to help make those memories permanent. Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, we love and appreciate the trust our clients give us to be there with them in some of their most incredible moments. Nora + Greg here fully leaned into that trust. The booking for this wedding all felt so fast! A quick email exchange and we were booked. And we were thrilled because again….VERMONT. And the whole day felt like a beautiful whirlwind, from pulling over at random fields on the side of the road, remembering jewelry at the last minute, and almost being too stunned to remember to take photos of Nora putting on the bridal gown as I have never seen someone jump into a whole dress the way she did. And that day everything was perfect. It’s chaotic and busy and head-spinning but it’s perfect, it always is.
All of this is to say that we loved this day, we loved this couple, and we loved this state (did I already mention how much I love Vermont?), and no matter how many weddings we photograph, the excitement never fades. We are just as in love, enthralled, and in the chaos as our couples are on that day, and we love it.
Thanks for visiting our little corner of the internet <3
